About
Dr. Anne
Hi, I’m a licensed psychologist based in Austin, Texas, and I’ve spent the last 25+ years helping people navigate life, love, and everything in between. My work is grounded in connection — helping individuals and couples understand themselves, each other, and the patterns that shape their relationships.

My path to psychology started with a deep curiosity about people — how we communicate, what drives us, and how we heal. I earned my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, double majoring in Communications and Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas. I completed my master’s internship in sunny San Diego, and eventually returned to Texas to complete my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M.

I've always been drawn to the richness and complexity of relationships. I’m curious about the ways our brains and hearts work — especially the differences between men and women — and I love helping couples understand each other more deeply.

My approach is rooted in attachment theory and neuroscience. I help couples explore how their attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant) shape their dynamic, with the goal of creating safety, trust, and deeper emotional connection. I’m trained in several approaches to couples work, including:
· Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
· The Gottman Method
· PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy)
· Imago Relationship Therapy

On a personal note, I’m married and mom to three boys, which has given me firsthand experience with the joys, challenges, and beautiful messiness of family life. My own journey continues to shape the way I show up — with warmth, humor, and a deep respect for the stories we each carry.

If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for a change. Whatever brings you to this moment, I’d be honored to walk alongside you — with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to helping you find your way forward.
