I am a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Austin, Texas.  With over 15 years experience, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples in a variety of settings.  I am passionate about men’s and women’s “brains”, understanding how they work and how they are different … and bridging the gap.  I specialize in relationship dynamics focusing on partners' bonds and attachment styles (secure, anxious ambivalent, and anxious avoidant) with the goal of secure attachment. I have been trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy), The Gottman Method, Stan Tatkin's PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy), Imago and been mentored by Dr. Pat Love.  I am also an experienced Mental Health Professional (MHP) and a Parenting Coordinator (PC) within the collaborative law divorce process.  As an MHP, I work with attorneys and financial professionals to help couples achieve a collaborative divorce. As a PC, I help parents address issues related to custody and other child centered concerns.

In addition to private practice, I have also served as adjunct faculty in the master's of counseling programs at St. Edward's University and as an adjunct/ Associate Professor at Texas State University.
